Our services go beyond the provision of a care service for children when they are not at school.

Special Needs
The Fun Zone will create an environment that will promote the inclusion of children with special needs. We shall work together with parents and carers and other relevant professionals to ensure that our activities and menus are suitable for all children in our care.

Equality and Diversity
The Fun Zone is committed to providing equality of opportunity and respects the diversity of all children in our care, parents and carers and partner schools.

All learning and play opportunities will avoid stereotyping and derogatory images and promote learning about different cultures, religions and race.

Child Protection
Staff will receive regular training in Child Protection procedures and The Fun Zone will work in accordance with the local Area Child Protection Committee procedures.

Behaviour Management
We aim to provide an environment in which there is acceptable behaviour and where children learn to respect themselves, other people and their environment.

If children behave in an unacceptable way we will help them to see what was wrong and the impact on others.

We will work with parents and carers to manage ongoing poor behaviour.
